We are proud to announce that starting 2012 Pinnacle Implants & Periodontics will host a regional study club for dental hygienists dedicated to continuing education.

A letter has been sent out to most hygienists in the area containing the application for membership. If you have not received a letter please feel free to download the application here and send it to our office.

Seminars will be held every other month starting in January and two hours of CE credits will be awarded every seminar.

Update (1/28/2012)

I would like to thank everybody that made it to the first seminar for the ETDHSC held right here in Longview. Not only was the turnout good, but the involvement, comments, and discussions that took place were even better.
I am now looking forward to the coming seminars even more than before.

The date of the next seminar will be announced shortly. The expected date is sometime in March to keep the seminars once every other month. Once we are able to navigate through the complicated calendar month that is March – with the spring breaks and expected babies – we will notify everybody of the final date. So stay tuned for more information.

As for the topic of out next seminar, votes were taken at the end of the seminar last Thursday. The most requested topic was, overwhelmingly, LANAP – Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure. So to give you a good seminar with adequate follow up of my personal cases this topic will be set for the May 2012 seminar.
The second most requested topic was soft tissue grafts and thus will be the next topic.
This is my favorite procedure so it should be a good seminar.
